Welcome to Sheesham Heritage. By accessing our website, browsing our catalog, placing an order directly through our checkout system, or transacting via our official WhatsApp channels, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please review them carefully before placing an order.

1. General Conditions & Commercial Scope

Sheesham Heritage manufactures, curates, and retails handcrafted solid Sheesham (Indian Rosewood) furniture.
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion, including instances where orders appear fraudulent, violate trade practices, or cannot be serviced due to logistics limitations.
All content, photography, branding, and designs on sheeshamheritage.com remain the intellectual property of Sheesham Heritage and cannot be reproduced without explicit written consent.

2. Product Authenticity, Timber Characteristics & Sizing

Natural Wood Movement: Sheesham is an authentic, natural hardwood. Natural characteristics—including grain patterns, timber knots, seasonal micro-expansion or contraction, and organic shade variances—are integral hallmarks of solid timber and do not constitute manufacturing defects.
Handcrafted Variance: Because our products are shaped, carved, and finished by master artisans, finished dimensions may carry minor manual variances ( $\pm 1–2\text{ cm}$ ).
Display Accuracy: We strive to display wood finishes and stains accurately. However, actual surface appearance may vary slightly depending on monitor color calibration, room lighting, and unique wood grain density.

3. Orders, Pricing & Payment Terms

Pricing: All listed retail prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable domestic surface delivery unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to revise catalog pricing without prior notice.
Payment Security: Payments made through sheeshamheritage.com are processed through RBI-authorized, SSL-encrypted payment gateways (such as Razorpay/Cashfree). We do not store credit/debit card numbers or net banking credentials.
Advance Deposits for Made-to-Order Items: Custom-built orders or direct orders facilitated via WhatsApp require a non-refundable advance deposit (typically 30% to 50%) prior to raw timber allocation and workshop processing. The remaining balance must be settled prior to freight dispatch or upon agreed delivery terms.

4. Shipping, Heavy Freight & Doorstep Delivery

Logistics Handling: Heavy solid timber pieces are routed through specialized B2B surface logistics partners (e.g., Delhivery Heavy Surface, Safexpress, or regional PTL carriers).
Delivery Scope: Standard surface freight coverage covers ground-floor doorstep delivery or drop-off at the primary residential/commercial entrance gate.
Site & Staircase Fitment: The customer is strictly responsible for measuring doorways, corridors, turning radiuses, elevators, and stairwells before ordering. If a delivery cannot be completed due to structural or entryway constraints, the customer remains liable for all two-way freight charges, and no return or cancellation will be accepted on these grounds.
Labor & Floor Lifting: Specialized floor lifting, rope hoisting through balconies, or secondary manual labor above ground floor is not included in standard shipping and must be arranged independently by the customer.

5. Assembly & Unboxing Guidelines

Most accent pieces ship pre-assembled, while larger case goods (such as beds or dining tables) ship in knockdown condition to protect structural integrity during transit.
Assembly hardware and fittings are included. Basic knockdown assembly (e.g., bolting legs) can be completed with standard home tools.
Mandatory Unboxing Video: To claim transit insurance or report missing hardware, an uncut, continuous unboxing video recorded from the sealed outer carton through full unpackaging must be provided within 48 hours of delivery.

6. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

Sheesham Heritage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the delivery, fitment, or post-purchase maintenance of our products.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction: These Terms and any separate agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
